Linzay Young and Kevin Wimmer of the Red Stick Ramblers perform fiddlesticks, a style of fiddling where one player (in this case, Kevin Wimmer) bows the fiddle and performs all fingerings, and the other player drums on the fingerboard with a pair of wooden sticks. It's an old-fashioned way to get a lot of music out of one instrument. Here, they perform the Cajun music classic, "J'Ete au Bal".[br][br] Full Disclosure: These musicians are close, personal friends of About.com's world music guide, [link url=http://worldmusic.about.com/mbiopage.htm]Megan Romer[/link].
